At the 2018 Brown Family Reunion Meeting the following items were discussed and/or voted on:

It was proposed that the reunions be held every 2 years instead of every 3 three years because 3 years is too long to wait to get together as a family. Everyone in attendance agreed.

Reunion locations were discussed. Everyone agreed that reunions be held in cities/states where a Brown descendant lives. Another reunion location was suggested, a cruise. It was agreed that when the survey went out, it would include a cruise. The location or destination of the Brown Family Reunions will be determined by the majority vote from family members via online survey or email.

It was proposed that the reunions be held the first weekend in August as opposed to the middle of August due to the various school schedules. Everyone in attendance agreed.

It was proposed that reunion registration fees be nonrefundable. 2018 reunion committee members incurred extra expenses due to contract obligations that were not met after unexpected cancellations were made by family members.

It was proposed that a Go-Fund-Me type of account be established to assist those who may need help with traveling expenses to attend the reunions. Everyone agreed that strict guidelines be established for those who receive funds from the account.

It was suggested that unofficial "reunions" be held midway between official reunions. These unofficial gatherings are separate from the planned Brown Family Reunions. More information will be posted soon.

It was mentioned that ambassadors are needed to represent The Seven Brown Siblings. These ambassadors will act as lead contact person for their branch of the family tree.

56 Reunion surveys went out.

41 Family members completed one.
